Mixing Fragrance Oils

Gather your materials in a well-ventilated area:

• A plastic bag
• A cotton pad
• Your favorite fragrances
• A dropper

This is where you create your fragrance – no waste, just what you need.

Before we dive in, it's crucial to consider safety. Work in a well-ventilated space and be mindful of concentrations, especially if you have sensitivities or allergies.

2. Choosing Your Scents

Time to play with aromas! Select your standout fragrance (I chose candy cane mochaccino), complemented by others like vanilla cream and salted caramel. It's a delightful trio that blends seamlessly to create a scent that's uniquely yours.

3. Mixing Your Scents

Start with six drops of your main fragrance, add two drops each of the complementary scents. It's like blending ingredients to create a delightful combination, with each part contributing to the overall goodness.

4. Letting Your Scents Blend

Seal the bag, giving the fragrances time to mix thoroughly. The longer you let them blend, the stronger and more pleasant your final fragrance will be.

5. Smelling Your Creation

Open the bag, take a sniff, and savor the fragrance. If it needs a bit more character (I added extra salted caramel – my favorite), trust your nose and add another drop or two. Simple, effective, and fantastic results every time.

6. Simple Math for Your Scent Mix

I used a total of 11 drops – six candy cane mochaccino, two vanilla cream, and three salted caramel. Candy cane is 55%, vanilla cream is 18%, and salted caramel is 27%. A straightforward recipe for your perfect scent every time.
