Returns are not permitted on fragrances under our standard policy due to the ability to compromise their integrity. We recommend purchasing in smaller quantities first to determine your personal preference.

However, when you add VCare+ Shipping Protection to your order, fragrances become eligible for return as an exclusive benefit. Any attempt to open, dilute, alter, or otherwise compromise the fragrance prior to return will void eligibility for a refund or replacement.

Our Returns and Exchange Policy

Within 30 days of receipt of your goods, you may return any product in its original, unused condition (excluding fragrances, unless VCare+ was purchased on the original order). Products that have been used cannot be returned.

To start a return, please visit our Returns page. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased from villagecraftandcandle.com. Original order shipping costs are non‑refundable under our standard policy. Unless VCare+ applies, returns are shipped back to Village Craft & Candle at the customer’s expense. All products are shipped and sold pre‑packaged, as they are received.

For concerns with product quality or damage in transit, please reach out through our Contact Us page so we can advise you on next steps. We may require photos and/or videos to be submitted for return authorization.

VCare+ Shipping Protection

VCare+ is a low‑cost, optional shipping protection that gives you additional coverage when something goes wrong with your delivery.

When you purchase VCare+ with your order, it covers shipping‑related issues such as loss, theft, or damage in transit. VCare+ also includes free return shipping on eligible, unused products within 30 days of receipt, and unlocks the ability to return fragrances as an exclusive benefit.

If you experience an issue with an order covered by VCare+, you may request either a refund or a replacement of the affected product (subject to inventory availability). Claims must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.

Fragrances returned under VCare+ must be in their original, uncompromised condition. If there is evidence that the fragrance has been opened, altered, or otherwise compromised prior to return, the claim may be denied and no refund or replacement will be issued.

Refunds

Returns are subject to return shipping fees, which are dynamically calculated based on the return address, unless your order is covered under VCare+ and qualifies for free return shipping. For customer‑initiated returns not related to our error and not covered by VCare+, return shipping costs will be deducted from your overall refund.

For errors in fulfillment (for example, we shipped the wrong item), Village Craft & Candle will assume responsibility for the return shipping cost. Original shipping charges and standard return shipping charges are not refundable unless explicitly covered by VCare+ under the terms of your claim.

Did you use a promotional voucher, code, or certificate?

If you paid for all or part of an item you return with a promotional coupon or code, that part of your refund will be credited to your account and available to use the next time you place an order at villagecraftandcandle.com. This does not apply if the promotion has expired.
