BUSY SEASON NOTICE:
We do not guarantee delivery times. We cannot rush orders. Orders are done in the sequence received in fairness to all. Our goal is to process in 24-48 hours from time of receipt by office staff. On-line orders are processed from Monday to Friday. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday. The retail store is open, however stock goes quickly. Plan accordingly.

- Coupon Codes are entered on the View Cart page, just before checkout. You must be signed into an account for the codes to work. These discounts are offered for reducing packing and administrative time.
How to Save the freight by picking up at the store.
- Sign in to your account.
- Build your cart and check out with the "Pick Up" option. This information goes to warehousing and your order is pulled and delivered to our retail store. Warehousing processes orders Monday through Thursday.
- Once your order is at the store, you will be notified by email and you may come to pick it up.
- Items can be purchased from cash and carry as well, but larger quantities may not be in stock without ordering from the warehouse.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, E money Transfers on line as well as cash and Interac at our retail location.
We cannot assist with technical candle making questions for product not supplied by Village Craft and Candle Inc.
Order Processing and Shipping
Orders will be processed in the order in which they are received. We do not have an option for rush orders. Additions to orders will no longer be possible, as payment is now taken at the time of ordering – not shipping.
All orders under $25 are subject to a $5.00 processing fee. This fee covers the handling of a small order..
We realize that candle making supplies can be quite heavy. Because of this, we have set up shipping contracts with CanPar to bring you the most economical shipping possible. CanPar will attempt once, and then the parcel will be delivered to an assigned location and instructions will be left regarding pick up. If you wish to have the parcel left without a signature, please indicate "No Signature Required" in your Special Instructions area. In remote areas or out-of country, it may be more economical to use the postal system. Cost will vary according to method used and weight and number of packages.
Shipping quotes are available online. Sign in to your account, enter the items you wish to purchase, then visit the View Cart page. The system will use the weight of your items and your postal code to calculate the available options.
Canada Post is also an option on parcels under 50 lbs. Parcels will be left without a signature unless otherwise instructed.
Multiple piece shipments may get separated in shipping. Please check your shipping tag to see if is "1 of 2" "2 of 2" etc. Missing pieces usually arrive the next day.
*Due to winter weather conditions there may be days that shipping does not happen. We apologize for any inconvenience to you.
Tracking numbers will be provided for on-line orders, please allow 24hrs to 48 hours before tracking. This allows time for the parcel to be picked up at our facility and enter the shipping software. If you have any difficulty 48 hours after the shipping confirmation email, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be glad to assist you. Ultimately, your delivery is governed by the shipping policies of the third party. We reserve the right not to ship to certain addresses.
In-stock items leave our warehouse in 1 to 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders are not processed on the weekends. Actual shipping costs are assumed by the purchaser, including any additional charges for dimensional weight adjustments, extended area fees, fuel surcharge, multiple parcel charges, brokerage fees and/or residential delivery fees.
If there is any damage or error with your shipment, please contact us within 14 days. Include a description of the problem, and take pictures if possible. This information will help us improve our system of processing orders. See Returns and Policies page for full details.
Out of Stock Items
Every effort is made to ship your order complete. If an item is out of stock and that product is expected to arrive shortly, your order may be held so that it will ship complete. If it is an item that is expected to be out of stock for an undetermined amount of time, your parcel will leave without the item and you will be reimbursed for the item. Please reorder out of stock items. Larger quantities of product may require lead times.
Orders cancelled 24 hours after placement are subject to a 5% surcharge to cover card processing fees. No cancellations are allowed on shipped items.
Picking Up Orders
Village Craft and Candle is comprised of two separate locations, the retail store and the warehousing facility. The retail store hours are posted under “Contact Us” and the warehouse is not open to the public. “Pick up orders” are processed at the warehousing facility and delivered to the retail store. Orders placed through www.villagecraftandcandle.com marked PICK UP must be allowed sufficient time to guarantee fulfillment. You will receive an email marked PROCESSED which indicates that the order is at the retaill store. You may visit our retail location during business hours and purchase items without advanced notice, but there is NO GUARANTEE of stock.
Pricing and Taxes
Customers will be charged taxes on product and freight at their provincial level as required by Canadian law. See the government website www.cra.gc.ca for further details.
Changes in pricing and availability are at our discretion, and may be updated without notice. Sizes and weights quoted are approximate. We reserve the right to limit quantities that you may buy, and we reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion.
Prices are in Canadian Dollars.
Use of and orders placed on this website are governed by the laws and the courts of the Province of Ontario, and applicable laws of Canada. Uses are also responsible for complying with these laws, including intellectual property rights to third parties.

Variations in consistency or typical colour of a fragrance appear from time to time when the manufacturer must alter formulations to comply with regulations, and this is beyond our control. Testing of product in your application is necessary part of candle making and strongly recommended.
